Wall Street Warriors

Hi All,

There was a documentary series called "Wall Street Warriors" shown on a channel called MOJO.
I just bought the dvd set on Amazon, It's very interesting.
It shows the life of various Wall Street people. it includes a Wall Street Lawyer, about 3 hedge fund managers with established firms, a small start up hedge fund, a day trader, and various individual traders and floor specialists.
I highly recommend it.

Awesome. Thanks, Paul.
I have to add this DVD to my must-see list. Curious to see the schedule of the upcoming seasons since this DVD is Season 1. This is a like a reality show made to DVD.
I don't have MOJO so I guess I have to buy the DVD.

Andy I'm not sure if this is against forum policy.
Please feel free to delete this post if so. Unless you legally own or plan to buy season 1 I Dont think its ethical to download but here is a link for Wall St. Warriors season one.

I downloaded it and now plan to buy season 2, 3, etc....

Hi Rodrick,
I should have posted the forum policy regarding copyrighted materials somewhere but haven't found the need/time to do so thus far. There were only a few times that our members posted links to some not-so-legal sites, out of their good hearts. They completely understood why i removed the links

Thanks again for your well meanings, understanding and consideration.

Just caught the first episode of this and all I have to say is "Wow, people gotta see this"
Specially people who never worked on WS before (like myself)
So I thought, maybe we can show this in one of our Quantnet Movie Night. And invite all the Quantnet Members to come

Andy, we'll set up a RSVP here after deciding on the time and location for this. (I will keep you posted on this...) Great suggestion, thanks! And again, we are anxiously hoping that new members and incoming students would be able to join us this time.

Folks:
Let me know the date and time and I am fairly certain we can set you up
in the Subotnick Center in the seminar room area (60 seats).

Cheers,

Prof. H.

Wall Street Warriors the second season will be aired on MojoHD on 1/24. Mojo Finds New 'Wall Street Warriors' - 1/4/2008 6:28:00 AM - Multichannel News
Mojo is ready to trade with a second season of Wall Street Warriors.
As part of its new “Mojo Money Night” Thursday programming block, the high-definition service will roll out its second season of Wall Street Warriors at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on Jan 24.
The sophomore season of Wall Street Warriors features a new cast battling to generate as much as money as possible within vacillating world markets: Larry, a hedge fund manager and frozen concentrate orange juice floor trader; Brett, a private equity fund manager; Jessica, a cotton commodities pit broker; stock brokers Jim and Lance; and Laetitia, a rookie trader, just at the start of her career.
“Last year we found that the world of Wall Street finance struck a chord with the Mojo HD audience,” said David Asch, senior vice president, programming and new media for Mojo's parent company In Demand Networks, in a statement, “so in the second season of Wall Street Warriors, we are expanding the series to include other financial disciplines, plus we are launching two partner series which explore the equally fascinating worlds of venture capital and entrepreneurship.”
Bobby G: Adventure Capitalist and Start-Up Junkies will air in the 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. timeslots, respectively.
I have my cable hookup on the 26
