Admission committee at Baruch understands GPA from various Indian universities very well. Instead of overall GPA, you need to worry about performance in Math courses. Having 9 or 10 in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential equations, Numerical methods definitely gives you an advantage.

I gave the exam and it seemed very difficult for me except for few questions. whoever signed up from Baruch can expect an invitation for this exam

Most of the international students work on OPT at least until next H1B cycle. Small companies don't sponsor H1B visas for international students AFAIK, there can be few exceptions
