    woah 75 bps! Also recently the petrol prices were increased by INR 5. I don't get it, 2 weeks back they increase the repo rates to dip the inflation and now they increase the petrol prices? I cook and I bought 100 grams of cumin seeds for $1!!! money is seriously losing its value.....

    As big baddie mentioned, increase in lending rates, people will borrow less, hence spending decreases, they will save more thus reducing the demand and hence getting control over inflation but it takes time. This is my knowledge so far.

With Warwick, I sent them around 6 emails and then they said I dont have a pure maths background With Kings, its after I reapplied, they gave me the same reason in the online system...
