Actuary Exams?

Has anyone here taken the Actuary Exams?

Universities really like it, but I don't know if employers care. It certainly has a lot to do with quantitative finance. I'm taking my 2nd one (Math Finance) in October and hope to do the 3rd sometime next Spring.
 
I does very little for anything other than actuary jobs. Overlap? Sure. Still, you are better off taking relevant coursework or doing an internship.
