Hey,

I'm at a solid uni in the UK, and studying chemistry to a masters level. I'm wondering if this is too "un-quantitative" as a degree to stretch into quant. I can definitely tailor my course so its more physical chemistry based, and I really enjoy that side of the course, but is it too much of a push?

The degree is not that big a deal as long as you cover the core required courses in math/programming. I've seen people with law, music, history degrees successfully moved into MFE programs and later to good jobs in finance.
Just realize you face an uphill battle competing with other Physics/CS/Math/Engineering types who cover all those courses and more.
