Hi all,

I'm completing this course as a requirement for my entrance to CMU MSCF this coming fall. I am required to receive a mark of at least a B in this class, so I was wondering how the scale works. I have been able to find the mark break down, but not the scale on which marks are given. What mark out of 100 is equivalent to an A, B, C, etc?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Kareem,
You will receive a certificate if your accumulate grade is 70% or higher and Certificate with Distinction if 90% or higher. You can request a letter from Baruch MFE program showing the exact score you receive for the course.
We have many students who took the course to meet CMU MSCF admission requirements and I haven't heard anyone with any issue using this course to meet their requirement.
The hardest part is to successfully complete this course since it is a lot more difficult to do than a regular college intro course.
