Hi guys, CMU seems to be arguably the top 1-3 program in FE. I know their career support and brand name can help students land their first round interviews and I believe CMU students are definitely competent in the following rounds of interviews. But it is quite shocking for me that its placement statistics is at the bottom of the tier 1 program (top 5) and even lower than some tier 2-3 programs. I know they may have higher career goals that are hard to achieve but the number still seems a little bit low in comparison. Does anybody have any idea on the reasons behind?

Are you specifically talking abt employment rate? or salary
Employment rate mainly. After considering the avg salary, CMU is definitely better than t2 programs, roughly similar to Columbia I guess and below other t1 programs I think.
