I'm a very new member and still in high school. I've read about Quants and I believe I have a fairly good idea about what they generally do. However, I figured the best way to really learn about the Quant career was by asking real and prospective Quants.

General Questions:

What is the typical salary for a Quant?
What are some good undergraduate majors a future Quant would pursue?
etc.

I sincerely appreciate all help and hope I'm not wasting anyone's valuable time.
