Jobs after being Quantitative Analyst

Hi guys, just curious what kinds of jobs quantitative analysts go for after they are no longer quants. Tried searching the forum for an answer but haven't found much. If there's been a similar thread could you link it to me? Thanks

maybe work as a data scientist? or if you have a PhD, you could become an adjunct prof.

yeah, just curious what people think is a natural transition from a quant job. To me, a quant job doesn't seem like something you do forever. If I'm wrong I'd be curious to see which quant jobs people hold at retirement
