Hi all,

On online application, Baruch requests convert GPA to US scale. I've found on this website
http://www.foreigncredits.com/Resources/GPA-Calculator/ a conversion guide as below. Could anyone advise if that conversion guide make sense? I've got my degree from a Singapore university and we follow 5-point scale, bell-curve grading with details as follow:
Singapore Grade Point:
A+ 5 (Top 5%)
A 5 (Next 5%)
A- 4.5 (Next 10%)
B+ 4 (Next 15%)
B 3.5...
B- 3 ...
...
I know this topic has been discussed in some previous threads and the reply mostly is that it's not too important to find an exact score conversion , but I still appreciate very much any advice from the forum.
U.S. GradePoints
A+ 4.0
A 4.0
A- 3.7
U.S. GradePoints
B+ 3.3
B 3.0
B- 2.7
U.S. GradePoints
C+ 2.3
C 2.0
C- 1.7
U.S. GradePoints
D+ 1.3
D 1.0
D- 0.7

Consider A+ as 4.0.
If you consider A+ as 4.3, your GPA is going to be out of 4.3 and not 4.0 ( though both are good)
And I think this is the correct conversion
