hi, all

i am currently a undergrad senior applying for mfe program. i am just wondering how much weight would soft skills carry in the whole application? one of my recommendations kinda address this aspect. please feel free to leave any comments. i am all ears.

thanks to you all

Soft skills do not carry in the application at all but they will carry YOU in the interview...

what about addressing soft skills in recommendations? do you have any suggestions or is it going to stand you out?

thanks.

I believe this is mentioned in a variety of interview books from Mark Joshi to Eleen Reeves. The main point is who are you to tell them how good you are? Saying something like "I have excellent interpersonal skills" is just haughty. I for one am far from quite but say nothing about my soft skills on my resume. Cover letter, maybe; but not my resume. Just my $.02, though I might have picked this opinion up from the books that I have mentioned ;)
