does anybody know if someone with 1 or 2 years full-time quant experience wants to switch asset class and move to another bank / hedge-fund, how the interviews and job application process are different comparing to what a student goes through?

for example do they still ask him brain teaser questions or basic programming and math questions which they always ask from students?

I am mostly interested in the case that there is a "radical" change in the asset class or type of quant work. say, from algorithmic trading to rates, or from equities to (credit) risk. and the case of switching from an investment bank to another investment bank (or a heavily quant oriented hedge fund)

if someone has a personal experience which he is willing to share, that would be wonderful.
