Hello everyone,
Just to give you some background details. I have completed my bachelor in economics. The program was based on pure economics and research and we hardly touched any finance course. Being strong in mathematics in high school and scoring starigh A's in O'levels and A'levels, I thought that I will perform good in these subjects and will like them. However, thing did not went as expected. I rarely got any interest in econometrics as we took three mandatory course as I couldn t grasp the theoratical assumptions. But, my mathematics and statistics courses went quite well. I scored A's in them during my bachelor studies.
So analyzing my state of mind, I am planning to persue for masters in financial and computational mathematics. However, there are some of the doubts which i cannnot clear without your advice. I cannot go with assumptions and I am sort of natural science person. I like things strict and straight. My mathematical skills are quite good including calculus and linear algebra. I am good in statistics as well but not quite into it. So what I thought for myself better is that financial mathematics is the best option i can have. I had taken finance course online and liked it preety much.
You guidance will be highly appreciated and will help me alot. Looking forward
