A friend of mine passed this along. Does not seem like a scam. Send a Gmail to astarsearch.jobs

Prestigious bulge bank looking for around 20 developers.

No visa sponsorship - US citizens preferred or H1B w/ 3 years left (TN should be ok). No F-1s.

Co. will pay for relocation.

Investment Bank, looking for Junior-Mid Java/C++/C#/SQL devs developers to work in their Market Risk Technology Groups. Basically these are the people who develop complex applications that evaluate how mission critical data affects whether or not the volatility in the market will change. They have a very large distributed system that calculates the market risk across all trading areas of the firm in addition to a massive compute farm (Distributed computing, cloud), so this will feature a lot of cutting edge work in that space, especially focusing on large data aggregation and analysis engines. The main sets of problems are large data volumes and high speed/optimization.

Candidates MUST have excellent communication skills as they will be working very close with the risk users, quants, other technologists, and even trading desks as they roll out new products. Would you happen to know someone who may be interested? Top schools are a MUST. They also need a Data warehouse Developer with solid experience in data modeling and SQL.

Thanks, Andy. 20 developers. So many! Hmm, seems a lot of openings don't cosider international graduate students.
