The Quant Network at Baruch's Financial Engineering MS Program is proud to present a talk from Mr. Robert Young, Director in the Mortgage Analysis group of Citi Markets and Banking.

When: Friday, March 13, 2009 6:00 - 8:00pm

There will be a question and answer session following the talk.

Abstract
Discussion of various aspects of MBS ranging from description of MBS
cashflows, to prepayment modeling, to hedging, to the role of MBS in the
financial crisis.
Bio
Robert Young is a Director in the Mortgage Analysis group of CitiMarkets and Banking, where he has worked since joining Salomon Brothersin 1991. His main area of focus is currently Mortgage Credit Modeling. He has served as Chair of the Bond Market Association MBS Research,Strategy, and Analysis Committee. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in appliedmathematics from the Courant Institute of New York University, as wellas an MBA also from NYU, and a B.S. in Engineering from University ofPennsylvania.
