So im an econ/finance major thats going to finish my degrees next year, however ive taken a lot of extra math courses which will allow me to finish with a minor im mathematics as well which opens up the option of applying for a masters in statistics as well as a masters in math finance. I looked over the curriculum for both degrees at the university that im interested in applying to and im kinda of more interested in the masters in stats. However im looking to work in the finance industry after so im just wondering if anyone could basically break down the advantages and disadvantages of both degrees from a job search of point of view. Which would make me more employable ? What types of jobs would each degree gear me towards? Any ideas anyone ?

Statistics could be huge in risk management... I don't know if "they" value it as much as MSMF but from what I've learned in my risk management class it has potential to be tremendously useful in that particular field. I can't speak for any other fields as I simply do not know.
