'Objective' in (quant) intern CV?

Hey all,

The application season is beginning here in Australia for summer internships. One of the banks (an Australian one) requests that applicants put an 'objective' at the start to make it clear what an applicant wants in terms of career goals. I know M&I's format does not have this (and mine does not have one as of now), but should I put an objective on all my CVs for each of the banks I'm applying to? Obviously I will put one for that particular bank since they are requesting one.

Thoughts?

Thanks again :)

Something like this:

FYI, the intern (it's usually 1 I think) they take on the quant trading desk in FM is usually a PhD candidate. They take 5 + interns in the risk department... usually 1 for market risk, also a PhD candidate... and a few for for WIB credit risk and Westpac Group credit risk

Hope this helps with what you apply for. Look through whirlpool forums for more info
