Hi all, I am considering a quant master degree in UK, it is said that GMAT/GRE is optional in the admission requirement, is it really matters / having a large portion when they consider candidate. Meanwhile I just passed FRM and planning for CFA L2, does that more valuable than GMAT/GRE or reverse, thanks!

From my personal experiences and what others have discussed on quantnet, top quant masters degrees in the UK (think oxford, imperial) care way more about academics since these programs are usually in the maths department rather than the business schools, they prefer math undegrads with a high first class honours (80+ UK scale). Don't think they give much weight to FRM/CFA/GRE (but I could be wrong), work experience would probably help though.
