Hello everyone,

I have to choose between two CS courses, (1) Algorithm analysis or (2)Software design. (1) is in C++, (2) is half C++, half C#. (2) is taught by a professor with a reputation of being touph, (2) is taught by an easy professor.
Since I'm not a CS major, I don't 'need' either, but I want to always improve programming skills. Which is best?

Thanks.

Well you plan on writing algorithms, don't you?

Software design I think is for designing full-blown programs, when I think quants throw something together to analyze the current situation, which is a lot more algorithmic in nature than it is software. That said, if you want to make a computer game...
