Which major has best chance of entering columbia mfe, math/stat?

Im currently a mathematics major with a minor in computer science but im considering switching to statistics because math for the sake of math is starting to annoy me. I like more applicable math that i can use, but my long term goal is to enter into a mfe program particularly the columbia mfe program. I'll stick with the math degree if its best for mfe but I'd perfer statistics i think. both degrees will have a minor in computer science..
