I'm new to the stock market game, and have been actively looking for good resources for newbies.. While I've found many, I'd like to see what you guys suggest, as far as books and sites are.

I would start off with this list
Master reading list for Quants, MFE - QuantNetwork - Financial Engineering Forum

since you are interested in the stock market, I would pick out those with emphasis on equity. The "Nerds on Wall Street" book on that list, which I ordered and received today, has a chapter on stock manipulation (Chapter 11) which you would find interesting.

I take it you are interested in fundamental analysis of stock, not quantitative analysis?
