C++ Online Certificate Students' intro thread

Hi everyone! Super stoked to be in the community and learn C++ with you all!

Objective: To expand my knowledge of OOP, learn how C++ is applied within Financial Engineering, and to prepare myself for a graduate program in MFE

Programming experience: Python, SQL, R, MATLAB

Current work: Strategy and Risk Analyst

Intended pace of program: Planning on finishing this program in a few months before applying to MFE programs.

Objective: get into the MFE program
Programming Experience: Zero - tried several times to learn by myself, but all failed, being determined this time to stay along
Current Work: graduated from under in 2013, 4ish years of experience in credit risk
Intended Pace: don't know actually - so far I am still surprised that I can pass level 1 and level 2 hw in one month, guess that I will learn as hard/much as I can
